Founder Jim Hilborn produced his first newsletter, a weekly report on the Canadian chemical industry, in 1969, and just can’t seem to get ‘newslettering’ out of his system. He launched Canadian Fundraising & Philanthropy (formerly Canadian FundRaiser) almost 20 years ago, and swears that he’s going to keep at this one until it’s ‘perfect.’
Janet Gadeski, President of Hilborn and Editor of Hilborn Charity eNEWS, brings two decades of experience in fundraising and nonprofit management to her work of providing information and ideas to the leaders of Canada’s nonprofit sector. She has been a member of Hilborn's editorial team since 2003. With management experience ranging from a small touring theatre company to the Toronto Symphony and The United Church of Canada Foundation, she is keen to advance knowledge sharing and innovation in the sector through Hilborn.
As Publisher for Hilborn, Leanne Hitchcock manages all aspects of the bookroom and leads our book publishing division, Civil Sector Press. Her previous roles include event management, public relations, writing and editing for nonprofit organizations, and several years as Director of Marketing and Communications for DVA Navion (now Inspire).
Lisa MacDonald is Editor for Gift Planning in Canada and Assistant Editor for Hilborn Charity eNEWS. A degree in journalism and communications from Carleton University and more than twelve years experience working as a nonprofit communications professional inform her passion for and understanding of issues in this sector.

Definitely by far the most organized of this crew is Mary Singleton, our Manager, Training and Client Service, who works closely with PGgrowth and manages our professional development events, including the Key-To-The-Sector Workshop Series.
